Project Summary

This property was optioned in late 2015.  The site was the longtime home to family owned trucking operation situated in between one of Hayward's more established single family neighborhoods.  Preliminary environmental studies showed that the site harbored some surface contaminants above the residential safety thresholds.  We acquired entitlements for 23 single family detached homes in 2016.  After achieving that milestone we commenced environmental remediation actions which were completed in mid 2017.  We are currently awaiting our No Further Action letter from the Bay Area Water Quality Management Board.
